Abstract

Two Zn( ii ) complexes with 1-((2-pyridylmethyl)iminomethyl)-2-naphthol ligand show sensitive response to nitroaromatic explosives through luminescence quenching effects. The phenomenon was studied through time-dependent fluorescence technique.
