Renewed efforts to eliminate malaria have had greater impact on Plasmodium fAU : Pleasenotethatasp alciparum than Plasmodium vivax, a reflection of the fundamental differences in the biology of the parasite, its transmission dynamics, and ability to form dormant liver stages.
