Abstract
The synthesis of quasilinear metal(<sc>i</sc>) silylamides [KM(N(Dipp)SiR<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>] of chromium to cobalt, their diverse speciation in solid state and solution as well as their reactivity towards alkynes are reported.
