RETScreen: Clean Energy Management Software

Abstract
RETScreen Expert is used to evaluate various types of EE measures for projects in buildings and factories. It can model and analyze the viability of EE improvements in a wide range of residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings and facilities, from single-family homes and apartment complexes, to office buildings, hospitals, as well as large pulp and paper mills. Since its first release in 1998, the RETScreen Software has evolved into the world’s leading software as measured by metrics such as number of users, built clean energy projects, user savings, and avoided GHG emissions. The software enables professionals and decision makers to rapidly identify and assess the viability of potential clean energy projects, as well as easily measure and verify the actual and ongoing energy performance of buildings, factories, and power plants around the world. RETScreen Expert is used to evaluate various types of EE measures for projects in buildings and factories.
