Abstract

The main objective of the paper is to obtain and monitor the industrial parameters for electrical equipment's in the industry. This helps to analyze the overall functioning and life time for every equipment's. This system helps to observe and monitor the functioning of the equipment's from remote places across the globe. In the modern industrial development, the monitoring and controlling the equipment's in real time to enhance the performance and thus leads to increased productivity. The proposed system helps to reduce the visiting time in the industry and may leads to have accuracy due to monitoring and checking through remote places. These controlling and monitoring of the electrical equipment's through the communication network promotes higher efficiency and productivity in outcome. Various parameters such as temperature, moisture, smoke and fire are sensed by using sensors such as fire sensor, temperature sensor, moisture and smoke sensor. The overall process is controlled by microcontroller. To overcome the constraints in the traditional monitoring and checking system, the proposed system adopts the embedded system with GSM technology is implemented.
