Abstract

A series of citrate-intercalated Ni–Co LDHs are synthesized by hydrolyzing ZIF-67. Due to the pillar effect of citrate, the electrochemical features of Ni and Co are fully unfolded, and an evolution from typical pseudocapacitive to battery-type charge storing behaviors is first verified.
