Molten salt synthesized LaTa<sub>7</sub>O<sub>19</sub>:Er<sup>3+</sup>/Yb<sup>3+</sup> with superior upconversion luminescence using KCl flux

Abstract
Er 3+ /Yb 3+ is distributed in TaO 6 –LaO 8 layer, separated by two TaO 7 layers. The sample is plate shaped. The green UCL integral intensity of LTO:Er 3+ /Yb 3+ reached 89% of β-NaYF 4 :Er 3+ /Yb 3+ .
