Enhanced protonation ability of covalent organic frameworks<i>via N</i>,<i>O</i>-bidentate chelation for photocatalytic H<sub>2</sub>evolution

Abstract
This paper reports that COFs containing ( N , O )-bidentate chelating sites contribute to enhanced protonation in the form of intramolecular hydrogen bonds (O–H⋯NC), thus exhibiting enhanced photocatalytic H 2 evolution performance.
