Abstract
Resonant x-ray scattering measurements reveal the existence of charge ordering in the high-temperature cuprate superconductor, La${}_{2\ensuremath{-}x}$Sr${}_{x}$CuO${}_{4}$, well beyond the expected levels of doping concentrations.
