Abstract

) of the Pd(II)-imprinted adsorbent was 115.83, much greater than that of the chitosan adsorbent without imprinting and various reported selective adsorbents. Therefore, the Box-Behnken design can be a useful method for optimizing the synthesis of ion-imprinted adsorbents with desirably high adsorptive selectivity for precious metals.
