Broadband Ca<sub>3</sub>MgZrGe<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub>:Cr<sup>3+</sup> garnet phosphor for high-performance NIR pc-LED application

Abstract
Cr 3+ -doped Ca 3 MgZrGe 3 O 12 phosphors feature wide NIR emission with a high quantum yield of 82% and excellent thermal stability. The NIR pc-LED exhibits a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 20% and an NIR output power of 54.19 mW@100 mA.
