Abstract
Drones with integrated internet of things (IoT) technology now have a more comprehensive range of potential uses, including those for surveillance, agriculture, search and rescue, and package delivery. IoT-enabled drones rely on networked gadgets and sensors to gather and transfer data, boosting their functionality and effectiveness. Despite being advantageous, this connectivity exposes drones to weaknesses that could be used against them. The difficulties covered in this chapter include the requirement for strong authentication and authorization mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access to drone networks and the creation of secure communication channels to safeguard data.
