Abstract
Liquid-crystalline ferroferric oxide nanocomposites (Fe 3 O 4 @PILCs) were synthesized, which showed excellent sedimentation stability and enhanced magnetorheological effects due to a synergistic effect among the mesogens and Fe 3 O 4 particles.
