Abstract
MINI-ABSTRACT: Patient-reported outcome measures are increasingly important in the era of value-based healthcare. We use the example of total joint arthroplasty to demonstrate how current reporting measures may hide poorer outcomes. There is thus a need for a standardized approach in reporting patient-reported outcome measure tied to clinically relevant thresholds.
