Abstract

The authors investigate correlations between protons and $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Omega}}$ baryons, and between two $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Omega}}$ baryons, in heavy-ion collisions at RHIC and LHC. Given sufficient statistics in upcoming experiments, such measurements could provide valuable information on the existence of strange dibaryons and on the equation of state relevant to neutron stars.
