Applications of Artificial Intelligence of Things in Green Supply Chain Management: Challenges and Future Directions

Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) are remarkable emerging technologies in the coming few decades. AI offers analyses to the application and IoT makes the application connected, flexible, and efficient. The objective of the chapter is to study the role of AI and IoT; termed hybrid technology and explained as artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) in the green supply chain management (GSCM). This chapter explains the applications of AIoT in GSCM and illustrates how the application of AIoT has opened new directions in future for GSCM and what are the challenges need to be addressed for its effective working. We have applied qualitative analysis and data is collected from HST professionals in KSA. This framework shows the impact of hybrid supply chain technology and the results show the implementation of an AIoT-based green supply chain for the future growth and solutions to meet challenges in HST.
