Ratiometric strategy assisted electrochemical detection of 4-nitrophenol in water samples using nanostructured CuO

Abstract
A ratiometric relationship between Cu redox centers (Cu 1+ to Cu 2+ ) and 4-NP reduction was systematically monitored on CuO/GCE. The selectivity and reliability of the sensing matrix in real sample conditions assure practical applications.
