Abstract

Applications of Sustainable Materials from Commodity to Advanced Products. Because of their advanced multifaceted applications and ecofriendly nature, sustainable epoxy thermosetting nanocomposites are considered modern materials. They find applications in a wide range of fields, from active surface coating to biomedical technologies, including structural engineering, catalysis, smart materials, and electronics. This work presents a comprehensive review on epoxy nanocomposites, including nanomaterial types and their preparation, functionalization, properties and applications. Chapters also cover fundamental concepts of epoxy thermosets and in-depth discussions of novel thermosetting materials, their modifications and biocomposites.
