Abstract
. The covalent functionalization of the carbon nanotube sidewall with pyridyl ligands drastically improves the device sensitivity via enhanced n-doping. The utility of this ethylene sensor is demonstrated in the monitoring of senescence in red carnations and purple lisianthus flowers.
