Abstract

For better or worse, the world is going fully digital. Our connected devices are even seen more like companions than pieces of hardware 1 , and are affecting our very physiology. Ready access to all types of information has literally begun to change how we think and what we do, appearing to have only just started to fundamentally impact our lives forever 2 .
