Abstract

This study reveals for the first time that the novel cancer-related gene, FAM135B, promotes ESCC metastasis both in vitro and in vivo. Besides, we substantiate FAM135B's action on the β-catenin pathway through interacting with TNIK, thereby elucidating the promotional effect of FAM135B on ESCC EMT. Furthermore, we provide initial evidence demonstrating that METTL3-mediated m6A modification upregulates the expression of FAM135B in ESCC cells.
