Abstract
This is the first cohort study of the medical condition of patients receiving substantial cumulative doses from FGI procedures over a long period. In the critical care of patients with serious medical disorders, 4.0% of patients may be exposed to substantial radiation dose (CED ≥ 100 mSv). The risks associated with such a high level of radiation warrant continued attention.
