Abstract

Fine structural regulation of a thiophene-fused benzotriazole unit as a “π-bridge” yields a new A-π-D-π-A acceptor to achieve very balanced <italic>J</italic><sub>SC</sub> and <italic>V</italic><sub>OC</sub> for <bold>P3HT</bold>-based OSCs, leading to a high PCE of 7.72%.
