Permissible Measurement Error in Monitoring the Shape and Position of Surfaces

Abstract
Selection criteria are proposed for instruments used in monitoring the positional and shape error of surfaces, taking account of the corresponding formulas based on indirect measurements. The permissible measurement errors are determined, as well as the limiting errors of the instruments used in monitoring the positional and shape error of surfaces in new engine components at Yaroslavl Motor Plant.
