Abstract

There is a growing worry about the environmental impact of using fossil fuels in automobiles. For automobiles, a variety of energy sources are being researched, including batteries, fuel cells, supercapacitors (SC), and solar cells. These renewable energy sources may be used to create a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) that can be used in the future for transportation. Incentives are being offered by several governments to encourage consumers to convert to electric vehicles. By 2030, India’s government wants to see "only electric vehicles" on the road. An EV’s acceptance by consumers is influenced by a variety of variables, as discussed in this article, which is up-to-date. India’s current automobile owners are the subjects of the study’s findings. Analysis of the data was carried out. An important mediator in determining whether or not people buy electric automobiles is their attitude (ATT). The article also explains how electric vehicle adoption works by emphasizing key mediators and moderators. Researchers and policymakers alike will benefit from the results, since there has been a shortage of previous evaluations that have examined all sustainable consequences simultaneously and collectively. This research took on new significance with the development of a widespread network for the purchase and use of electric vehicles. Stakeholders may learn a lot about electric transportation from the segment-specific major policy suggestions.
