ChatGPT: A New Tool for English Language Teaching and Learning at Vietnamese High Schools

Abstract
This paper investigates the role of ChatGPT, an advanced language model developed by OpenAI, in the context of teaching and learning English in Vietnamese high schools. ChatGPT has the potential of helping teachers and students in teaching and learning English. However, we need to use ChatGPT to be careful because ChatGPT's abilities are limited in aspects. We provide valuable insights and recommendations on how teachers and students can use ChatGPT in their English language teaching and learning practices at the high school level.
