Abstract
NPs. Significantly, the chiral L-SPs show much stronger ROS scavenging ability than D-SP in the PD-like cell model. Moreover, the amount of α-synuclein (α-syn) in the cerebrospinal fluid of PD mice is reduced by 70.7% within two weeks. The L-SPs effectively alleviate neurodegeneration in a mouse model of PD, showing potential applications in the clinical treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
