Abstract

A rare acentric titanium oxide containing a distorted [TiO 6 ] octahedron induced by two types of p-block oxo-anion groups, namely Ti(TeO 3 )(SO 4 ), was synthesized and it exhibited the strongest SHG response among mercury-free sulfates.
