Abstract
The global history of conflicts has revealed that infectious diseases resulting from displacement, overcrowding, healthcare collapse, destruction of critical water and sanitation infrastructure, and malnutrition can cause death rates equal or beyond those from direct violence The crisis in Gaza is no exception and has created a perfect storm for infectious disease outbreaks.
