Analyzing Territorial Variations in the Implementation of IoT-Based Smart Homes

Abstract
This paper provides an in-depth introduction to the Internet of Things (IoT) in the context of smart homes, discussing the components and evolution of smart homes. It presents a comprehensive literature review tracing the development of smart homes over time. The paper further explores the implementation of smart homes in China, Malaysia, and India, focusing on adoption rates, cultural acceptance, and the economic capability of individuals. It highlights the contrasting differences in these three aspects: Adoption Rate, Cultural Acceptance and Economic condition of population across the three countries: India, China and Myanmar. The results section underscores the significance of this research in understanding the dynamics of smart home adoption and its implications for future development. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on smart homes and IoT, offering valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and industry practitioners.
