Abstract
Broadband NIR emission of a Ca<sub>2</sub>LaHf<sub>2</sub>Al<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub>:Cr<sup>3+</sup>,Yb<sup>3+</sup>phosphor has potential application as a light source for food content analysis.
