Abstract
This article proposes an effective approach to solve the network reconfiguration problem during power system restoration. In the stage of network reconfiguration, the sequence of line energizing, the plan to restore the critical loads of each bus, and the start of generating units should be confirmed. The proposed technique is based on an adaptively tunable fuzzy logic controller, in which the membership functions are tailored according to inputs adaptively. In this way, the restoration sequence of loads and generators can be determined uniquely. The proposed network reconfiguration strategy is tested on IEEE 118-bus system and results suggest that the method is effective and feasible.
