Abstract

Abstract This review provides a detailed analysis of the current transition observed in the field of electrodeposition of metals. Special emphasis is placed on the mechanism initiated by nucleation followed by diffusion‐controlled growth. The study highlights recent advances, relevant theoretical models, and practical implications of this process. Concrete examples are also discussed to illustrate the application of this method in various industrial and scientific contexts. These promising advances open new perspectives for the optimization of electrodeposition processes, paving the way for innovative applications in various technological sectors.
