Abstract
A novel and facile method for the Ag-catalyzed regioselective 1,6-hydroarylation of para -quinone methides ( p -QMs) with anilines and phenols has been established, and a broad range of anilines (primary secondary, tertiary), phenols and p -QMs are well tolerated.
