Nonresponse bias and common method bias in survey research

Abstract

This chapter introduces nonresponse bias and common method bias as two biasing threats that might afflict the results of survey research. The chapter also presents the main approaches in dealing with nonresponse and common method bias. Finally, it presents a case of addressing nonresponse and common method bias in survey research.
