Abstract

Sanitary workers have one of the highest levels of occupational hazards in their sector. This project aims to reduce that harm to an extent. It comprises a smart vest embedded with sensors such as Pulse sensor, Accelerometer and gyroscope sensor, Gas sensor. The microcontroller used is Raspberry pi 3B+. The sensors are fitted onto the vest with the microcontroller, the sensor data is monitored continuously. If any of the sensor readings go above board, notifications are sent to the concerned authorities that are monitoring the worker. If incase, the worker needs immediate retrieval there is a push button embedded on the suit, whilst pressing the button an alarm sound is produced in the speakers alerting the authorities that the worker is seeking help
