Abstract

MOR zeolites were synthesized using a series of Gemini-type dications as high-efficiency novel OSDAs. The prepared MOR zeolites exhibit superior catalytic activity for DME carbonylation, due to the preferential siting of Al and Brønsted acid sites in its 8-MR side pockets.
