Abstract
A vast range of medical, assistive, and surgical instruments have been developed to improve human life. The medical device business has had rapid growth and high research activity during the last decade. By 2023, the bio-implant market is expected to develop at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.6%. According to recent reports, the bio-implant industry is worth more than $100,000 million. Incorporating ideas from allied fields such as pharmaceutics, bioengineering, biotechnology, and chemistry has allowed researchers to build improved medical solutions that benefit patients. An ageing population, accidents, and sports-related injuries are driving the ever-increasing need for ortho-, dental, cardiologic, ophthalmic, and IVD equipment, as well as enhanced diagnostic tests, in the worldwide medical device market.
