Thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate (AN) in the presence of the optimized nano-ternary transition metal ferrite CoNiZnFe2O4
Pragnesh N. Dave, Ruksana Sirach
Abstract
CoNiZnFe 2 O 4 contains four transition metals known to act as a carrier during the thermal decomposition of solid propellant oxidizers. The studies disclosed that the addition of the catalyst makes the thermal decomposition process of AP faster.
