Transition metal catalysts in the heterogeneous electro-Fenton process for organic wastewater treatment: a review

Abstract
This work reviews transition metal catalysts for heterogeneous electro-Fenton, applied as suspended catalyst or modified cathode. The pollutant degradation performance and mechanism for H 2 O 2 generation and activation to active species are discussed.
