Abstract

Everyone, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, color, or location, finds pleasure in watching movies. This medium connects us all in a unique way. What’s even more thrilling is how diversified our tastes in movies can be. Some people opt for definite genres: thrillers, romances, science fiction, or are interested in actors and directors. With such tastes, it’s pretty impossible to generalize this or that particular movie to please most of them. However, there’s a group of people who share similar movie tastes. This is where I, as a data scientist, come in. Without further ado, let’s dive into the basics of such a system by analyzing behaviors and movie trends within the audience to build recommendation systems.
