Abstract

A triazole-based water-soluble novel bis-Schiff base chemosensor (L) has been designed, synthesized and characterized. The receptor L showed selective and sensitive colorimetric sensing ability for Pb 2+ ions and shows application potential in the detection of Pb 2+ in BSA proteins and real samples.
