Abstract

The correct diagnosis of diabetic eye disease is necessary; because it is a treatable disease and missing the diagnosis can lead to patient becoming blind. Diabetic eye disease can affect a person in early diabetic stage when symptoms are not recognized. These diseases are generally asymptotic so the patient comes to know about it when he is almost near the final stage of losing the vision. So, proper diagnosis and classification of this disease at an early stage is very important. Our proposed work is inclined towards prediction of the eye diseases by analyzing the electronic health records of the diabetic patients. The objective of this study is to analyze various techniques and methods that are applicable for the prediction of Diabetics Eye Disease in Type 2 Diabetes.
