Enhanced Flood Detection System using IoT

Abstract
Flood has created a huge loss for the entire world. Lack of early prediction and warning system results in a huge loss of human life and their property. If the flood is predicted and early warning is given, it will save a large amount of human life. The entire water bodies surrounding the particular area need to be monitoried and based on the outcome further action need to be taken. An IoT Framework is propsed to solve these problems. The Frame work will monitor the waterbodies and the ground water level with the help of IoT devices. The devices will send frequent information regarding the waterlevel of the waterbodies and the ground water level and based on the information that is collected further process will be carried out. The people around the waterbodies will be alerted based on the result of the process. The alert message with related information will be send to the people and also provide them with proper guidance to take further action. This will result in saving the human life.
