Improvement of electrode performance by grafting polymers via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP): Principles and applications
Marco Fantin, Abdirisak Ahmed Isse
Abstract
This review discusses the use of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), a controlled radical polymerization method, to modify electrode surfaces and create functional materials for electrochemical applications. The benefits of using ATRP-based polymers are highlighted for the fabrication of supercapacitors, electrocatalysts, and ultrasensitive electrochemical sensors.
