Abstract
A heterocycloarene derivative (<bold>S-Octulene</bold>) possessing two sulfur atoms was conveniently synthesized through Bi(OTf)<sub>3</sub>-catalyzed cyclization from a macrocyclic tetramethoxyethenylated precursor.
