Abstract

The article discusses the features of modeling technological equipment using the Aspen HYSYS software environment. A hydrocracking unit is considered as an example. The review of the existing systems of computer-aided design of oil and gas production and processing is carried out. Detailed attention is paid to the construction of a model in accordance with the process flow diagram, a reactor block, a rectification block, heat exchangers, and a recirculation system are built. In addition, the possibilities of using and adapting the resulting model for various tasks are considered. Based on the results of a series of experiments, 9 parameters were selected as key ones, and their working intervals were determined. The principle of determining the maximum and minimum values is given. Also, some errors of the program calculation system are described, which may occur when the equipment parameters are set incorrectly.
