Enhanced second-harmonic generation response in a chiral lead iodide induced by amino acid coordination

Abstract
A chiral organic–inorganic hybrid lead iodide was synthesized by using l -proline as a terminal ligand, which exhibits a strong second-harmonic generation response originating from distorted PbI 4 O 2 octahedra.
