Abstract

The combination of block copolymer self-assembly and polymer phase separation with sol–gel chemistry enables the optimisation of Li 4 Ti 5 O 12 (LTO) microspheres with size-tuneable carbon-coated mesopores, resulting in excellent electrochemical performance.
