Iodine Vacancies do not Cause Nonradiative Recombination in Halide Perovskites

Abstract
A systematic first-principles study shows that the iodine vacancy does not lead to strong nonradiative losses in halide perovskites as commonly believed; thus, performance optimization strategies for perovskite solar cells should focus on other defects.
